About Me

My name is Rachel Nieman

I'm an artist, illustrator, and all-around maker.  Obsessively admiring the art store aisles and hoarding the freshly sharpened pencils, I've been pulled to creating ever since I was a kid.  After a brief stint as a math major in college (left brain right brain am I right!),

I returned to my true calling, receiving my Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Cincinnati.  Soon after graduating, I moved to Houston, Texas. This is where I set up shop, drawing, painting, and creating to my heart's content.

When I'm not working, you will find me reading, travelling, hiking, imagining, and playing with my husband, daughter, and my pup-assistant Frankie.​
